shatta waleOMG!Ghana was at the artiste’s night of Commonwealth Hall last Saturday but we left the venue due to late start of the show. This is a mail we received from Amekor Shola Evershed about the show.
Club Beer, Ghana’s best selling beer since 1931 over the weekend organized the Commonwealth Hall Week Celebration which saw performances from Shatta Wale, Bisa Kdei and others at the artiste’s night of the week-long commemoration.

The show kicked off officially at 09:35pm with performances from some upcoming artistes from the hall as they showed off their rapping skills.
Award-winning DJ with live 91.9FM, MicSmith, was the main man behind the turntables. He was exceptional on the night with his gigs. His playlist was mainly tracks from the hiplife, hiphop and the dancehall world. The crowd kept shouting and singing along on his mixes on the night.
For the first time, girls were allowed to participate and witness the hall week celebration which in turn adds another value to the celebration.
Bisa Kdei mounted the stage around 10:38pm. Over, Azonto Ghost, Give it to Baba, Odo Carpenter were some of the tracks he performed on the night. He finished his performance around 11pm.
Shatta Wale, the headline art arrived at the Vandal City around 11:08pm with his manager, Bulldog. He performed close to 1hour which saw him performed some of his tracks among others like Shatta City, Nima mi Seh, A letter to Charterhaus, Hot Cake, Fever, Wind ur waist which features Davido.
His performance was such a charming one that he had to pause in the course of his performance and thanked the much packed crowd for their support for him and the SM Family  and added that, it is through their support for him and the Shatta Movement Family that they will get good grades in their exams.
He ended his performance around 12:08am with his ‘everybody like ma tin’ hit track.
The Vandals Hall Week Celebration was sponsored by the Nations’ Best Selling Beer, Club Beer with support from the Hall’s JCR.
